It offers 9 days of unforgetable memories,

 DAY 1: Whale watch at KAIKOURA a full day event then back to Christchurch. Here you will recieve a unique veiw of whales from a unique perspective with the Maori guiding you through there historical relaonship with these truly wonderfuls mammels of the deep.

DAY 2:: Tour around Christchurch, includes and Gondola ride down the pictureisque Avon River ( I am not sure if they have the traditional singer on board, but you could ask, then a drive around to some of the farm sights in the district before we go back to the Abbey Lodge.

day 3: The TRANZ ALPINE EXPRESS train ride accross the Southern Alps, one of the greatest scenic train rides in the world to Greymouth where we will be met by the bus for a trip to FRANZ JOSEF and the GLACIER GATEWAY MOTEL.

DAY 4- and a hike to the FRANZJOSEF GLACIER with the Glacier Guides who will give you a proffesional account of the amazing natural wonder.
Free time in the afternoon to try out some of the options available to you or smply enjoy some of the nature walks in this sub tropical area.  but you may wish to relax after the hike before heading back to the motel for

DAY 5  ;: and a journey through Wanaka and  puzzleland (a joy for the younger set and maybe the young at heart) then on to QUEENSTOWN the adventure capital of the South Island.
We stay at the LODGE MOTEL close to the main shopping centre and the Lake Front
 
DAY 6:;  A four wheel drive around the outer regions of Queenstown where some of the LORD of THE RINGS trilogy was filmed.
A free afternoon here to relax or take in some of the options available.

For the youger ones under 9, because they are to young for the dangerous conditions on the ice ther is a area they can go to here especiallyfor them.

Options here can be a swim in the hot pools (Very welcome after the cold on the ice)

DAY 7:We are on our way back to Christchurch via New Zealands highest mountain peak MT COOK.
We arrive back at the ABBEY LODGE MOTEL where you can go over all  the wonders of the most sceinic areas in Ao Tea Roa before we all retire to prepare for
 
DAY 8: and your journey home to start thinking about your next experience downunder in this paradise on the PACIFIC RIM.
